Install Koha in CentOS

  • After installation,update the sytem using the command

      $ sudo yum update

  • Now copy the contents of the CD of koha-packages to the /tmp folder of your system

  • Run the install script,

      $ sh /tmp/koha-packages/install-koha1.sh

  • Open the file install_manually in gedit and follow the instructions

  • Run the script,

      $ sh /tmp/koha-packages/install-koha2.sh

  • After the script has completed installing,the browser window opens with the Koha login screen

  • The installation of Koha is finished
