Admin Panel

Once Koha is installed,

The admin interface can be accessible at - < your-ip >:8080

The OPAC interface can be accessible at - < your-ip >

Log into the admin interface and go to More --> Administration --> Global System Preferences

Make all the settings there and make sure to set "Enhanced Content" and "OPAC content"

Patrons

Add patron categories and upload the patron data into Koha using the Bulk import tool

More --> Tools --> Bulk import patrons

Ensure that the data is in the required .csv format To know more about Patron import refer Slide 9 here

More --> Tools --> Upload Patron Images

Ensure the image is in JPEG,GIF,PNG format

Goto Administration --> Patron Categories

Here the list of Patron categories will appear and we need to select a category and click edit

There we need to change the patron enrollment period to the required amount.
